SessionProof

Terms of Use

Last updated 9 October 2026

These are the terms for using SessionProof. They cover what the app is, what it can and can't promise, how subscriptions work, and your responsibilities and ours.

1Who these terms cover

These terms are an agreement between you and Jake Giannopoulos, trading as SessionProof, an Australian sole trader (“SessionProof”, “we”). They apply when you create an account or use the SessionProof app. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the app.

2What SessionProof is

SessionProof is a session-logging app for personal trainers. Each record you save is stored with a timestamp and chained to the record before it, so a change made afterwards can be detected. A saved record can't be edited: corrections and later notes are added as new entries and the original stays.

3What the app does not promise

SessionProof is a record-keeping tool. It is not legal advice, and we don't guarantee that a record will be accepted as evidence or how any dispute, claim or complaint would be decided. A record shows what was saved and when. It can't confirm that what you entered was accurate or complete: that depends on what you write.

4Your account

5Your clients' information

The client and session information you enter is yours. You're responsible for having the right to record it, for telling your clients what you record and for getting any consent that privacy or health-information law requires where you work. We don't read, analyse or share it. The Privacy Policy explains how it is stored and protected.

6Subscription and billing

7App Lock and lost passcodes

If you turn on App Lock, your client names, conditions and session notes are encrypted with a key made from your passcode. We can't recover that passcode. If you forget it, you can reset it with your recovery key, if you created one. If you don't have it, you can start fresh. Your old records are kept in an archive, but you can only open them again with your old passcode or recovery key.

8Using the app properly

9Changes and availability

We may update the app and change its features. We aim to keep it running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Export or back up your records from inside the app whenever you want your own copy.

10Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded.

Subject to that, and as far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss that comes from information you entered incorrectly, a passcode you lost, or events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability to you for anything arising from the app is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months before the claim.

11Ending your use

You can stop using SessionProof at any time. To delete your account and all associated records, email sessionproof.app@gmail.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

12Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use SessionProof after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and both of us submit to the courts of Victoria.
